　新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大に伴う緊急事態宣言が７日にも発令されようとしている中での
ご案内となりますこと、ご容赦下さい。
　くれぐれもご自愛下さい。
　
　本年１０月９日（金）〜１１日（日）の予定で筑波において開催予定の第10回アジア地域科学セミナー
（ACRS）のAbstract 提出期限を一ヶ月延ばし４月３０日（木）としましたので、ご案内申し上げます。
　今年は国際学会の中止が相次ぎ、海外の研究者との情報交換の場が非常に限られるものと思われます。
　そのため、新型コロナウイルスの感染が終息しない場合でも、オンライン開催も一つの選択肢としながら、可
能な限りACRSを開催する方向で、幹事一同準備を進めております。
　是非ともこの機会をご活用いただけますと幸いです。

　皆様のさらなる論文投稿・ご参加を、心からお待ち申し上げております。

Deadline Extension of Abstract Submission
THE TENTH ASIAN CONFERENCE IN REGIONAL SCIENCE, TSUKUBA, JAPAN


Dear Colleagues,

Greetings and our sympathy to all who are suffering and struggling with the novel coronavirus.

The portal for abstract submission will stay open for another month due to COVID-19 pandemic. More 
precisely, the abstract deadline has been extended from 31th March to 30th April, 2020. 

If the pandemic ends before summer, we may have face-to-face meeting as usual. 

While the organizing committee prepares to hold the conference in Tsukuba Science City, it has 
discussed the possibility of online conference in case the risk of COVID-19 virus infection 
continues to certain extent.  

Since many international conference have been and will be canceled this year due to the expansion of 
COVID-19, this Asian Conference in either case should provide a favorable chance for cross-
fertilization of ideas among scholars and policy makers. 

Don’t miss the chance!
