 4月6日付けで以下のとおりご案内しましたように　第10回アジア地域科学セミナー（ACRS）　
の締め切りは明日４月３０日（木）です。
　依然として新型コロナウイルス感染の終息が見通せない中、オンライン開催も一つの選択肢としながら、
可能な限りACRSを開催する方向で、幹事一同準備を進めております。
　特に今年は貴重な国際会議の場の一つとなろうかと思いますので、是非ともこの機会を積極的に
ご活用・ご参加いただけますと幸いです。

Dear Colleagues,

Greetings and our sympathy to all who are suffering and struggling with the novel coronavirus.

The portal for abstract submission will stay open for another month due to COVID-19 pandemic. More 
precisely, the abstract deadline has been extended from 31st March to 30th April, 2020. 

If the pandemic ends before summer, we may have face-to-face meeting as usual. 

While the organizing committee prepares to hold the conference in Tsukuba Science City, it has 
discussed the possibility of online conference in case the risk of COVID-19 virus infection 
continues to certain extent.  

Since many international conferences have been and will be canceled this year due to the expansion 
of COVID-19, this Asian Conference in either case should provide a favorable chance for cross-
fertilization of ideas among scholars and policy makers.
